Karen B. Has Success With Cold Laser Therapy
After Battling Months of Severe Knee Pain from a Large Baker’s Cyst, Meniscus Tear, and Arthritis in the Right Knee, 56 year young, Karen B. states, “I feel like myself again.”
Before starting care with Dr. Schnee I suffered with constant and excruciating knee pain. I could not sleep at night, sit down, or stand up without knee pain. I had to pull myself up the stairs because I had no strength in my knee and I had pain. I took Tylenol Arthritis and Alleve 2X a day just to get by and function.
Since completing Dr. Schnee’s Cold Laser Knee Program I can sleep at night, stand, walk, go up and down stairs without pain. I have been able to return to my daily routine and I can walk without pain for a long period of time. I feel like myself again.
I am pleased and (my knee is) feeling much better. I do not need to take pain medicine for pain or to get me through the day (anymore). I can say that I feel 90% improved over where I was before (care).

The Food You’re Eating May Be Making Your Knee Pain Worse
The foods you’re eating may actually be contributing to your chronic knee pain. The foods that cause inflammation and can often lead to chronic knee pain include refined sugar, refined grains, and flour products (bread, pasta, bagels, etc.), refined oils and red meat. These types of foods make up approximately 80% of the average American’s caloric intake. Even eating only 30-40% of calories from these foods is too much. A diet comprised of these types of foods creates inflammation that will affect the knee joint and surrounding muscles causing and promoting further knee pain and suffering.
An anti-inflammatory diet is one you should consider if you’re suffering with swelling and chronic knee pain (especially from arthritis). An anti-inflammatory diet consists primarily of vegetables, fruit, raw nuts, and healthy proteins such as lean meat, skinless chicken, fresh fish and eggs. In addition, a little bit of dark chocolate and red wine in moderation are also anti-inflammatory in nature. The best oils to use include olive oil, coconut oil, and real butter. A very popular oil supplement that should be taken daily is fish oil that contains omega-3 fatty acids, which is well known for its anti-inflammatory properties.
Spicing your meals can also add a substantial anti-inflammatory boost. For instance, ginger, turmeric, rosemary, oregano, garlic, coriander, have been proven to be anti-inflammatory in nature. For instance supplementing with ginger was discovered to reduce chronic joint and muscle pain.
In summary, the food you’re eating may be promoting and exacerbating your knee pain so you may want to consider changing your diet as a natural way to help reduce swelling and pain in your knees.
If you are suffering with chronic knee pain, in addition to changing your diet you may want to consider undergoing Dr. Schnee’s Cold Laser Knee Program, which is considered to be a safe, effective, painless alternative to knee surgery, harmful medications and shots.

How Effective Are Knee Replacements? Patients Tell All
A survey conducted in February 2006 by the Consumer Reports National Research Center telephoned patients who had a hip and knee replacement and asked them about their experience. The result of the survey found that the surgery had serious complications and it did not return patients to the state of perfect mobility. It was also discovered that while most people stopped taking their pain medication after 2 months, 12% were still taking it after 1 year. And one quarter of the knee patients said they still could not perform the more challenging tasks of walking a half-mile as late as 1 year after the knee replacement surgery. Five percent reported getting an infection after surgery. Thirteen percent suffered a seriously weakened or contracted muscle that in some cases needed additional surgery to correct. Seven percent ended up with legs of unequal length, and 5% of all patients required another operation to correct problems caused by the first one.
Of course, sometimes knee replacement surgery is the only option. But today, surgery has too often become a risky alternative especially since large studies have demonstrated that 40% patients with signs of osteoarthritis of the knee on x-ray have been satisfied with conservative treatment.
Knee replacements last 10-20 years depending on the prosthetic used, and if you have to get it redone a second time- it isn’t very pleasant.
Ask just about anyone who has had one knee replaced and they will tell you the rehabilitation is excruciating.
I had my left knee replaced 5 years ago, and I really did not want to do that again. The Orthopedic doctor suggested that I get surgery on my other knee. That’s when I came to see Dr. Schnee …she explained the (Cold Laser Knee) program to me and I got started with care. I thank God everyday that I did. What a blessing.

After all, knee replacement surgery is always an option but once you go through with it there is no turning back. Good or bad you’re stuck with the results.
