Find Out How To Choose The Right ‘Cold Laser Doctor’ To Treat Knee Pain

No matter what a doctors degree of medical competence is a thorough understanding of cold laser therapy is needed in order to achieve successful results with a laser. Any licensed health care provider can own cold laser equipment but that does not make them proficient in its use. I get daily phone calls and e-mails from patients who live out of state asking me to recommend a doctor in their area who is proficient with cold laser therapy AND is proficient with treating knee pain. Unfortunately, I have no idea who to refer them too because I’m not familiar with out of state cold laser doctors.

The bottom line is if you’re looking for a doctor who uses cold laser therapy for knee pain make sure that this is their specialty. For example, you wouldn’t go to an orthopedic surgeon to operate on your knee if they specialized in the shoulder joint.

Again, I’m sure you’ll find plenty of doctors who advertise that they use cold lasers in their practice. BUT do they treat all sorts of conditions and joints or do they focus solely on knee problems?
